Sumptuous hotel accommodation
 Following a major refurbishment at the start of 2012, the hotel has 7 attractive guest bedrooms, each beautifully decorated offering a high standard of hotel accommodation. Every guestroom has a digital TV, radio alarm, hairdryer, toiletries and beverage tray (which includes complimentary Devonshire mineral water). Several guestrooms have glorious views across the Axe Valley's wooded hills, while others look out into the hotel gardens & grounds. All guest bedrooms are en suite (our Classic rated rooms have a shower, whilst our Deluxe and Master rated rooms contain both bath and shower), complete with our wonderfully thick bath sheets and hand towels to pamper yourself. Every bed is made up with luxurious sheets of soft cotton for the ultimate sleeping experience. Plus books, magazines and free-to-access wi-fi all add those welcoming extras that make you feel at home.
Easy access for hotel guests
Our spacious ground floor Classic Twin guest room offers easy access accommodation for those who are disabled or have difficulty with stairs. Disabled parking bays are situated beside the hotel's front door (which has a ramp) and all of the ground floor is level with easy access to the restaurant and cloakroom.
For holiday guests planning sightseeing itineraries in Devon, Dorset and beyond or guests on business wanting to keep in touch, we offer wireless broadband internet access - available throughout the hotel - free of charge.
Swallows Eaves Hotel is easy to access by road, being located on the A3052 main Sidmouth/Lyme Regis road with plenty of private (off-road) car parking spaces. For guest arriving by train, Axminster is on the London Waterloo to Exeter line with the station only 4 miles away (click here for our Travel Links page).
The hotel and restaurant are totally non-smoking and regrettably we do not have the facilities to accommodate children or pets.

Also extensively refurbished and enlarged at the start of 2012, Reeds Restaurant welcomes you to a first class dining experience provided by Head Chef Paul and his dedicated team. The Reeds' philospohy is simple: to serve top quality, freshly cooked dishes based on tried and tested combinations at reasonable prices.
Only the best, locally sourced ingredients are used and our a la carte menus are updated to match the seasons. Reeds offers a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and are delighted to cater for any special dietary requirements, such as food allergies or intolerances.
