Reeds restaurant at Swallows Eaves Hotel offers refined contemporary food and warm hospitality in an informal and timeless environment. Reeds restaurant has been remodelled into a light & airy room, accommodating 22 people. Our philosophy is to produce top quality, refined contemporary food, beautifully cooked using the best “in-season” and locally produced ingredients.
The menus, which change regularly, can be described as “modern British” creating dishes based upon tried and tested combinations, using the best seasonal and local ingredients.
With food and wine this tempting you'll be glad you only have to go upstairs at the end of the night!
The following is an example menu only as our dishes are created according to the season and availability of local produce.

Salad of Welsh salt duck with raspberries & walnut croutons
Tian of Brixham crab with pea purée, red sorrel & caper berries
Goat’s cheese mousse with beetroot & walnut salad and balsamic reduction (V)

Roast rack of Spring lamb with Jersey Royal potatoes, lamb jus and hot mint jelly

Saffron tortellini of smoked garlic, chargrilled asparagus, rocket & parmesan
Main course dishes are served with chef’s selection of fresh local vegetables where appropriate

Freshly baked bread & butter plus jugs of iced water are provided.
All produce is sourced locally & cooked to order.
